SNO Yachts contacted Freddy to find a solution to their problem of cleaning up oil, water, diesel and bilge leaks from within the ocean going yachts they manufacture and service.
To take a wet vac down into the engine room was not feasible due to space and access restraints.
Therefore Freddy came up with a very powerful vacuum system consisting of a 500 ltr tank, a 7.5kw side channel contactless vacuum pump, all of which would stand on the quay side next to the yacht requiring service.
Using a 10 mtr length of 50mm hose they could reach down into the engine room and bilge tank to clean up liquid spills and mixture of debris.
They have found Freddy has solved their cleaning problem consisting of leaks from sea cocks, oil and diesel leaks, and general spills within the engine room.
Freddy will also do bilge spills from pump replacements, engine coolant spills, and debris from repairs to the fibreglass structure and metal drillings swarf.
